Abstract
Ultrasonic detection techniques have been widely used in mobile robots navigation. Several ultrasonic sensing techniques have been developed, most of them using static sensors installed on the mobile robot. In this paper, mobile ultrasonic sensing is studied and proposed for mobile robot navigation. Results of experiments using a prototype of mobile robot show the applicability of the proposed technique.
