Abstract :
A practical solution has been provided for near field correction to antenna factor based on a set of calculable dipole antennas in NIM. The calculable dipole antenna is developed, based on a pair of commercially available precise dipole antenna and specific S-parameter adapters. The difference of SA in 10 m range between simulation and measurement is less than 0.4 dB; while the SA is measured in an OATS (open area test site), whose width is only 12 m. This study is valuable to accurate antenna factor calibration for those who lack good OATS.
