Abstract :
Electromagnetic wave mode in the YIG film is applied to a TE10 metal waveguide filter. The transmission characteristics. of this filter have been analyzed by the mode matching technique and designed by choosing parameters of the YIG film. Maximum attenuation of more than 25dB is observed experimentally for the stop band filter at X band, and quality factor of more than 103 is measured for the band pass filter in the cut-off waveguide.
