Abstract :
In this paper, two methods are adopted to control the radiation direction of the parabolic cylindrical spatial power combining antenna (PCSPCA): one is to rotate the parabolic cylindrical reflector; another is to control phases of the linear horn array. It is calculated that the relations between the scanning angle and the gain, beam width, side lobes level, and the radiation pattern. The influences of the reflector dimensions on the bean scan characteristic are given.
