Abstract :
In this paper, a novel X-Band band pass filter (BPF) using low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) technology is proposed. This filter is based on half-mode substrate integrated circular cavity (SICC) structure. This novel filter can be easily integrated into microwave and millimeter-wave multilayer circuits using LTCC technology. What´s more, it can reduce nearly half size of normal SICC structure and has the advantages of very low insertion loss. This filter with a simple structure exhibits an insertion loss of 1.02dB at center frequency 11.32 GHz, and a 3-dB bandwidth 4.0%.
