Abstract :
This paper describes the characteristics of short gap discharge in N2+NO including hydrocarbon gases which behave as a deoxidized gas for NOx gas. The starting potential decreases and the discharge voltage increases with increasing content of hydrocarbon gases. This paper clarified that hydrocarbon gases behave as Penning effect gas
