  • Abstract
In this paper, according to the theory of multi-layered media, the performance of the horizontal dipole antenna above a wall is obtained. In the circumstance of the wall, the spectral Green´s functions of multilayered media are formulated. The two levels discrete complex image method(DCIM) is used to derive simple, accurate, and rapidly convergent expressions of the full-wave spatial Green´s functions form the spectral Green´s functions. The spatial Green´s functions are used in the mixed potential integral equations(MPIE) to model horizontal dipole antennas above a wall, and MPIE are solved by method of moments(MoM), using piecewise linear basis functions and Galerkin matching. The influence of the wall on the performance of the antenna is analyzed in different conditions.
