Abstract :
The GSM wireless network coverage is one of the important factors that affect the service quality of the wireless network. With the ever-changing network broadcasting environment (network communication environment), in view of the problems that the spreading path loss and signal attenuation become more and more serious, the paper discusses the hata model and its application conditions, and adopting of the empirical model-COST-231/Walfish/Ikegami model to reduce the signal loss in transmitting. A loss algorithms model is built with modifying coefficients in account to get the best scheme for the signal coverage. In this way we can solve a more accurate assessment of micro-community micro-cellular network environment covering problem to a better purpose of optimizing the GSM network.
