Abstract
Microfabricated folded waveguide (FWG) is considered as a promising slow-wave structure (SWS) for millimeter wave (MMW) traveling-wave tube (TWT), characterized by broader bandwidth, greater power density and easy-machining. In this paper, the influences of structural parameters on electromagnetic wave propagating properties were discussed, based on the cold-test simulation by numerical calculation and electromagnetic wave (EMW) simulator. Also some optimized parameters were obtained through discussion.
