Abstract :
This paper studies the axially compressed behavior of RC columns strengthened by high performance ferrocement laminates (HPFL) through the monotonic loading comparison experiment of nine round columns. And on the basis of experimental research and theory analysis, the paper reveals the acting mechanism that the HPFL can improve or increase various performances of columns and establishes the calculation model and formulas of load-bearing capacity of RC columns.
