Abstract
One of the solutions of scalability problem in IntServ is the aggregation of IntServ traffic flows in the core networks. Since it reduces the amount of signaling data and, simultaneously leads to resource reservation in the core networks. The scalability IntServ model should provide the same service class as IntServ, though it cannot guarantee the individual flow, but, it can guarantee the group flow. This paper illustrates the guideline to compute the end-to-end delay bound and allocated buffer, which assured that no queuing loss in general. The strategy for providing the Guaranteed Service (GS) in our model, focus on the static provision of aggregation of IntServ´s GS flow, does not include administrating and signaling. Our derived formula can be applied in either the Hierarchical RSVP/IntServ, IntServ over DiffServ or IntServ over ATM.
