Abstract :
This paper is concerned with Hybrid Renewable Energy System (HRES) for energizing critical and sensitive loads in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) where the reliability is the first priority. As easy expandability and modularity are other objectives of the design, common ac bus structure is selected for this application. The ac power sharing is based on wireless control scheme, which makes future system expansion with minimum technical complexity. The renewable energy sources work in MPPT at all the time during grid-connected mode in order to exploit the green energy and maximize the revenue in case of excess energy. During standalone mode, the system has to enter power sharing mode. Simulation results are shown to explain the basic operation of system in this mode.
