Abstract
This paper firstly introduces the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and presents the situation of iron and steel industry CDM project. Then it further studies methodologies on the assessment of the influence of CDM projects on sustainable development, analyzes and evaluates CDM projects effecting China´s iron and steel industry sustainable development on the case of Wugang Coke Dry Quenching project. Finally, it makes some suggestions about how to promote sustainable development for China´s iron and steel industry CDM projects.
