Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a low complexity echo canceller design, where the echo interference is estimated and subtracted in the frequency domain. The symbol-based operation minimizes the computational load without sacrificing performance. The scalability of the architecture makes it suitable for both echo cancellation (EC) mode and frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) mode ADSL.
