Abstract
A multi-link cooperative polling scheme for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Data Link (UAV-DL) is proposed to improve the throughput and reduce the average delay. Markov model of flight States for UAV-DL, Gilbert-Elliot channel model and different priorities for multi-link network are used in the scheme. The key of the scheme is that the high priority notes are polled by master site with main network and the low priority notes are polled with extended network when the channel is in a good state. The throughput of link is shortened, if the channel state is poor. The scheme is verified by later simulations. Average delay and throughput of multi-link cooperative polling scheme for UAV-DL are analyzed based on the probability generating function. Simulation results are that the average delay is shortened 30% and the throughput is increased 1.3 times than the other ways.
