Integrated traffic control systems in Dorset

Two new unitary authorities, Poole and Bournemouth, have been created in the County of Dorset. It was intended that control of the existing urban traffic control system and other ancillary systems be expanded into the offices of the new authorities where such control affects facilities within their boundaries. This paper describes the development and implementation of a shared traffic control and monitoring system in the County of Dorset.
