Abstract
Theory of the bipolar-charged layers adjacent to an electrode surface in the nonpolar liquids with low conductivity due to the action of the electric field is developed. The structures of this kind have been revealed by the probe measurements of the field strength in the vicinity of the flat electrode in hydrocarbon liquids
