The design of college student apartment based on ergonomics

This study is based on domestic and overseas theoretic research and applications in the fields of university apartment. Take the student apartment in college of engineering of Nanjing Agricultural University as an example to analyze the student apartment´s present situation. This paper has adopted methods of both questionnaires and interviews to specialize the changes of university students´ psychological and behavioral models in different stages and different genders, considered students´ common requirements in users´ angle. The author utilizes both ergonomics theory and architectural methodology to design the student apartment which can meet the studying and living requirements of different stages of students. The concrete plans and the suggestions are also proposed to create more reasonable and comfortable student apartment environment in the future.
