Abstract
In many modern communications systems adaptive antenna arrays are widely used for signal tracking and interference rejection. The algorithms and their performance under different scenarios are widely reported in the literature. In this paper an adaptive antenna system capable of protecting a weak communication signal from a strong interfering signal is described. The concern here is with the case where the signals are wideband, so that time delays are needed after the antenna elements to achieve a broadband pattern. A BPSK modulated signal is used for illustrating the performance of this time delay algorithm
