Abstract
Points of sharp variations in images always include important information. These points can be denoted by a reconstruction algorithm using spline interpolation function, which is used for recovering the image from the dyadic wavelet transform modulus maxima is proposed. The simulation experiments demonstrate its satisfying properties. It is simpler and more efficient compared with previous algorithms.
