Architectural creation based on minimalism : Considering the design of the Guangdong Huaijinan Expressway Management Center

This paper analyzes an architectural design idea based on minimalism and applies it to a practical project. It tries to dispose of complicated design issues using simple methods, and to gain excellent space forms by considering the space proportion and by using simplified methods. Lastly, this paper rethinks some of the experiences and lessons from project practice, confirming the advantages of the minimalism theory and pointing out its limitations.
