Abstract
In wireless fading channels, the network outage probability is defined as a probability that there is no power allocation such that all users can meet some common SIR level. This paper provides lower and upper bounds on the network outage probability under the assumption of Rayleigh fading channels. Moreover, we analyze the asymptotic behavior of the bounds as the number of users tends to infinity linearly and with the square root of the bandwidth.
