Abstract
Sol-gel dip-coating technique was adopted to prepare TiO2/AC in ethanol solution while tetrabutyl titanate was considered as precursor in the presence of glacial acetic acid as hydrolysis inhibitor. The effects of key operation parameters such as toluene initial concentration, dosage, light intensity as well as reusing times of pholocatalyst on photocatalysis efficiency were investigated. The results showed that, under optimum conditions where the mol ratio of N, Fe, Zn and TiO2 were 0.4: 0.1: 0.005: 1 and calcination time was 2h at 500°C, the degradation rate of toluene on pholocatalyst doped with N, Fe, Zn was up to 98% under irradiation of visible light.
