Application of reverse auction in the supplier selection

This paper analyzed the shortage of the existing method of supplier selection and introduced the reverse auction in it. The technique avoided the deficiency of the existing method and the supplier had more opportunity to revelation its preponderance thus the supplier selection was not unilateral and it could greatly reduce the stock price. The results obtained from the application of this method to the supplier selection indicate that this method is feasible and effective.
