Abstract :
Rate control is not a part of the current multi- view video coding (MVC) test model. We propose a rate control algorithm for MVC based on the quadratic rate- distortion model. The proposed method consists of three levels for more accurate bits rate control. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme can efficiently implement bit allocation and rate control according to coding parameters.
