Abstract :
A next generation rapid modeling, assembly and simulation design system is introduced. The design system utilizes smart component product models and smart tools. The concepts of the system, the smart models and the smart tools are discussed with succinct mathematical formulation where appropriate. Examples which demonstrate the unique features of the system and its value are provided
