Campus environment plays an important role in students´ personal development. In the rapid development of advanced education, the construction of campus environment has processed a lot while also eliciting some problems. This paper presents the relationship between Chinese classical gardens and modern campus environment. By analyzing the art of paving in Chinese classical gardens, this paper proposes ways borrowed from them to construct modern campus environment, meanwhile discusses their application.
