Abstract
The practical stabilization of nonlinear uncertain systems without matching conditions is discussed. The necessary and sufficient conditions of practical stabilization are given, and we obtain that the bound of the practical stabilization for a class of uncertain systems is independent of the bound of its Liapunov function, but dependent only on the structure of the system itself and the requirements of the designer. Finally, an example is given
