Abstract :
We have demonstrated a low-threshold and wavelength-tunable optical parametric oscillator using PPMgLN pumped by an acousto-optically Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with a repetition rate of 1 kHz. Wavelength-tunable character can be realized by temperature and grating period tuning method. A wavelength-tunable infrared (IR) output from 1445 nm to 1685 nm was obtained under the temperature tuning regime of 20degC~180degC. And the grating tuning regime of 29.0 mum~31.0 mum. The pump power threshold of 45 mW can be obtained.
