Abstract
This paper proposes a connectivity model for nodes which are spatially distributed according to a Poisson Point Process in a bounded (circular) area. The propagation environment is characterized by distance-dependent loss and log-normal shadowing. We consider nodes that communicate with a terminal located in the center of the circular area and derive an expression for the distribution of the power received by this terminal. We also obtain an expression for the moments of the co-channel interference received by the terminal located in the center of the area.
