Abstract :
The energy gap of perovskite is usually less than 3.0eV. So it shows good photocatalytic activity in visible light region and used as photocatalysis. In the paper perovskite-type oxide CaCoO3 is prepared by citric complexometry. The photocatalytic degradation experiments of using the CaCoO3 to dispose water soluble dye are carried out. The conditions of photocatalytic degradation such as photocatalytic time, amount of photocatalyst, the illumination intensity, pH value and additional oxidant (H2O2) on photocatalysis are also studied in the research. The results show that CaCoO3 has a significant photocatalysis decolorizing effect on the acidity red dye. When the concentration of the catalyst is 4g/L, the reaction time is 180 minutes, PH value is 2, the illumination intensity is 60 watt, the dosage of 10% H2O2 is 50mL/L, the degradation ratio of the acidity red dye can reach 97.2%.
