Abstract :
This paper focuses on Architectural Typology in the historic district preservation and renovation. Firstly, summarize the main theories and methods of Architectural Typology. Then in the viewpoint of sociological perspective to consideration the living integration in historic district, and discussion on significance of Mixed settlements and its can be realized forms. At the last part put forward the typology approach to maintenance and integration of historic district, purpose to study a healthy growth of the space combination mode for historic district. The preservation and renovation of historic districts must be closely combined the social environment construction and social form shaping. Applied typology can fully excavate and maintenance the existing historical cultural and architectural features in historic district. Residential integration is to establish the relative stability and the promotion of social activity humanistic environment. Based on a combination of both, will integration and construction the reasonable layout form.
