From Hymer´s monopoly advantage theory to the formation of Denning´s compromise paradigm, though the theories of multinational companies are numerous, the core of analysis framework is the monopoly advantage. Multinational enterprises take FDI, foreign direct investment, as the process of exploiting its existing strengths. Since 1990s, scholars began to pay close attention to find creative assets as target of FDI. Getting creative assets as target of FDI becomes the main features of the international expansion, especially the MNC of developing countries. Based on the analysis of the motivation of developing countries´ FDI to developed countries, this paper analyzes the challenges and difficulties of developing countries´ FDI in Search of creative assets.
