Abstract :
Based on the research of functions needed for making geological disaster monitoring thematic-map product, the authors adopted the integration technology of GIS and RS, and thus developed the manufacturing system for geological disaster monitoring thematic-map product in Three Gorges Reservoir Area. With the support of the system functions, the background-product and routinely-monitoring-product was carried out successfully. This research has great innovating significance in integrated development with GIS and RS, flowsheet-manufacturing, and thematic-map products output. The results provide the decision-making department with strong technical support of geological disaster monitoring, early-warning, hazard evaluation and emergency plan making.
