Abstract :
In this communication we present our calculation procedure based on the finite element method and the first results of the calculation of the electric field. The calculations performed in the needle-plane geometry, confirm that the maximum of amplification of the field is reached at the front of the water tree. However, the amplification coefficient is found lower than the value predicted by the model of concentric inhomogeneous dielectric spheres and its dependence on water tree length is different
