Abstract
To improve the performance of the spatial-temporal (ST) equalization scheme which employs the constant modulus algorithm (CMA), a hybrid CMA equalization scheme is proposed. Initialised by the results of a cascade-type (CT) equalizer, a ST equalizer performs signal estimation. It has been shown that better performance has been achieved in both residue error power and convergence speed.
