Abstract :
Spatially power combined arrays of oscillators have been proposed for generating millimeter wave power to compensate for the decrease in output from single transistor oscillators with increase in frequency. Oscillator array synchronisation is a prerequisite. The authors discuss oscillator synchronisation and phasing, synchronisation by high-Q susceptive load pulling and resonator synchronised spatial power combiners for MM wave development.
