Abstract
An improved method has been developed for a full-wave, three-dimensional FDTD analysis of a typical EMC coupling problem. A wire through an aperture on a metallic enclosure has been considered. Plate thickness, wire diameter, different shapes and size of the aperture and any dielectric discontinuity across it an modeled efficiently. The radiation from the aperture and the current on the wire are computed. The matrix-pencil method is used to estimate interesting parameters.
