Abstract :
In this paper, a novel reliability analysis algorithm of distribution system which integrated the Wind Power Generators (WPGs) is analyzed based on Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) method and Power Circle Strategy (PCS) island operation. First of all, the employed theories including the relationships between wind speed and output power of WPG, the basic principle of MCS as well as the concept of PCS, are described in detail. Then, the structure and process of proposed algorithm is introduced. The simulation results indicated that the combination of WPG and PCS can not only improve the reliability of distribution system, but also give the priority to the important load in island operating conditions.
