Title :
Migrating IN towards TINA
Author_Institution :
Deutsche Telekom, Darmstadt
Abstract :
The term migration is first explained. Some assumptions for migration from intelligent networks (INs) to the Telecommunications Information Network Architecture (TINA) are discussed and starting points set. Some technical aspects are then discussed with respect to possible migration scenarios. Two migration scenarios are presented and discussed in detail. For the first scenario a service example is given to highlight how interworking between the IN part and the TINA part of the scenario proceeds
