Abstract :
Being the key data for designing assembly lines, assembly sequences can be expressed graphically and textually. Comparing the existing graphical representations, this paper considers the optimal procedural network. A list is recommended as a textual representation of the assembly sequence, which can be handled conveniently by computer. Its formal definition and the Prolog rules of processing lists are detailed
