Abstract
This paper presents one of the possible ways of computer music perception and synthesis using intelligent systems. Music pieces express emotions which are defined by certain musical features. The author suggests using the semiotic intelligent system to analyze the emotions in music, tag music pieces according to their emotional content, and also create new music pieces that express certain defined emotions.
