Abstract :
Modern compact low-cost scanning antennas of MM-wave diapason of a new diffractional type for radar systems in transport are considered. A new concept in the design of radar antennas for transport systems (TS) under contract with DaimlerChrysler AG is proposed. This concept consists of the TS radar antenna as an element of construction of the TS itself: a part of the bumper, lights, radiator grating, an element of the bumper or wing, etc
