Abstract :
Demand side management programs in different countries are not the same. These programs, which are going to decline energy request level and consumption, depend on social, cultural, ecological and economical potentials. Iran has great potentials to do DSM programs but at the same time there are many challenge to implement these programs. Investigations on DSM programs which are done in different countries, enlarge the view of managers for program designing. This paper reviews DSM programs of 13 countries and at the end there are some suggestions for the case of Iran.
