Abstract
This paper analyses multitemporal E-SAR images from seven dates between May 20 and July 30, 1992 in X-band (VV- and HH-polarization), C-band VV-polarization) and L-band (HH-polarization), maximum likelihood and unsupervised classifications were applied on several single- and multi-frequency, mono- and multi-temporal channel combinations. The overall classification accuracies were evaluated using test site confusion matrices. Using clustering less crop types could be identified, but the overall accuracies were higher than with supervised methods
