Abstract :
Several years ago, at the Polytechnical College in Subotica, our own framework was implemented (our own framework) for distributing an e-learning curriculum via Internet for the following subjects: ldquoC++ programming languagerdquo, ldquoEnglish languagerdquo, and ldquoInternet technologiesrdquo. Those Web applications had numerous options, which was thought would help students in the learning process. The use of those applications was predicted to lead to easier and more efficient knowledge acquisition. But today, we are facing and opposite of what we expected: there are less and less students who use our e-learning applications. This paper will try to find answers for this phenomenon, by presenting the new achievements in the related research fields of cognitive psychology and computer science.
