Abstract :
The inverse source problem in the time domain is shown to reduce to a limited view Radon inversion problem, thereby being analogous to a limited view computed tomography (CT) reconstruction problem. We derive in both time and frequency domains a "filtered backprojection" like formula for the minimum energy (ME) source consistent with a given, prescribed radiation pattern.
