Abstract :
This paper builds on previous work of the author on the design of piecewise-affine controllers to piecewise-affine systems. By extending a previous result on controlled invariant sets for constrained linear systems, the paper presents less conservative conditions for stability of a closed-loop piecewise-affine system. The fundamental contribution of the paper relies on the stability result derived in Section 3.
