Abstract
Nowadays, the application of Video transmission on Internet tends to require large bandwidth, which makes the network overloaded. Furthermore, parameters such as packet delay, jitter, and low throughput have significantly reduced the video quality of the receiver, which reduces the end-user´s efficiency of work or entertainment. In this paper, we propose a solution to improve the queue management mechanism BLUE to ensure the quality of the video data stream which always requires large resources when the state of network transmission is unstable. We carry out this by prioritizing video packet and ensuring network resources for more powerful video packets than other common packets. Experimental simulation based on NS-2 shows that our proposal has significantly improved video quality at the receiver while maintaining the flow of data transmitted on the network in an acceptable range.
