Abstract :
The research mainly aims at developing a FlexRay/CAN/LIN protocol analyzer for vehicle communication network and integrating the present communication protocols FlexRay, CAN, and LIN in the vehicle electronic network. The analyzer has high speed USB 2.0 interface that transmitting parsed packages of FlexRay, CAN and LIN signal to PC in real time. In order to implement the protocol analysis of CAN and LIN bus, the analyzer utilizes USB 2.0 chipset to connect CAN controller, CAN transceiver and LIN transceiver. Meanwhile, the CPLD component is connected to parse FlexRay network protocol. The analyzer not only provides lower cost and friendly GUI human interface, but also confirms to FlexRay 2.1, CAN2.0 A/B, and LIN 2.0 protocol specifications.
